Deviation Actions
To say that, as a graduate, I am leaping from the pan to the flames would be inaccurate. I am leaping from the flames into the inferno, and I am a fire dancer. The industry of the game developer is ripe, but hard for a junior to break into. I am not leaving this chapter of my life on a cliffhanger: I have broken into a full sprint and leapt off the cliffs, shedding my shirt mid-leap and forming into a perfect swan dive.
What lies below me? The ocean of change roils and froths beneath me, whitecaps on aquamarine waves, but I do not fear it. I trust my ability to swim, to feel the current flowing around me and to pull me into the right direction. If the tide pulls me down I will learn to hold my breath.
I'm anxious. I'm moving into an apartment without a job but with my fiance. Mom managed to magic together some funds to help but if I don't get a job soon, well.
Trust me, I'm being optimistic. I -will- get a job.
In Ethnis news. I began another story. My bad, it just sort of happened. It's on hold now that I've written the synopsis though, especially since I determined the final story will be over a thousand pages long and is the third in its series.

God Damn It's A Nice Day.

A quick little ditty.
Online content providers are fascinating beasts, we are. It's kind of amazing that any creature can show a pulse only once every few months and still be considered alive, huh? It's like something from the best and worst horror movies.
That concludes the mandatory 'yes I'm still alive' segment. I write these as much for posterity as for confession, something to go back through later and either remember fondly or cringe sympathetically with.

Of projects and paintings
Maybe there's just a bit of nostalgia tipping my perceptions, but I'm pretty sure I painted way more when I was in college.
Perhaps it was the atmosphere, or the time, or perhaps I'm wrong. Though I've been submitting much less I've also been doodling a lot, enough that I should do a sketchdump just so I don't look back on this sketch of time and feel useless.
I've doodled ceremonial power armor for the Jhoutigari, for my character Manul. I've doodled a demon named Maiden, several iterations of Hunters of the Grandmaster of Light, and so on. A couple of them made it here, but they had to get through the expansive coloring process first. I t
